Fire Retardant

Exclusive in the world

The new Fire Retardant Solution of Latexco is exclusive in the world. An innovative product that complies with the European Standards (EN597-1, smoldering cigarette and EN597-2, match flame equivalent), the British Standards (BS 5852 source 2, match flame equivalent), and the Italian standards (UNI9175) for fire retardants products.

Keeps the comfort qualities of genuine latex

In contrast with the existing fire retardant technologies, the fire retardant latex foam from Latexco keeps the comfort qualities of genuine latex. It keeps its natural elasticity, its perfect body support, a good air circulation, durability, and is mold-resistant and hygienic.

Interzum Award

Latexco is very proud to announce that we have won an Interzum Award 2011 for this innovative Fire Retardant Solution.

The fire retardant latex foam received also the Centexbel & Fira certificate for fire retardant on toppers, mattresses and pillows and fulfills the limits used by Oekotex.

Thèta Comfort

Phase Change Material

Thèta Comfort is a patented latex production technology enabling latex mattresses, toppers and pillows to be treated with Phase Change Materials (PCM). Phase Change Material has the capacity to absorb, store and emit heat energy without altering the temperature. The PCM absorb the heat in bed when it is too warm and give you a longer warm feeling in a bed that is too cold. In other words, Thèta Comfort increases your comfort: it keeps you at a constant temperature in the best comfort zone for a longer period of time.

Close to your body

The PCM active ingredient is, thanks to Latexco’s unique patented production process, applied on top of the latex foam, so the closest possible to your body. It is therefore all the more effective, without affecting the comfort characteristics of latex (Softness, resilience and point-elasticity).

Gel application

Latexco gel products are latex products treated with a thermoplastic polymeric gel, combining the gel characteristics and the latex comfort. The gel on the pillows gives the sleeper a refreshing and cool feeling so he/she can enjoy an excellent night’s sleep.

The latex products with gel keep their excelling latex comfort. The high density of the gel evenly distributes pressure. The pinholes through the treated surface allow a perfectly balanced ventilation. The gel is clinically tested and satisfies the American FDA (Federal and Drug Administration) requirements.

Interzum Award

The competition for the "interzum award: intelligent material & design" impressively shows how the supply industry is performing its role in this process. For the sixth time, Koelnmesse in cooperation with red dot has prepared the stage for outstanding new products this year. 124 companies from 19 countries took their chance and submitted 208 new products. Latexco won an Interzum award "high product quality" for our Fire Retardant Range.
