Latexco highlights its ever-growing commitment to sustainability with FSC® certification

Latexco, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of latex foam components, PU foams and pocket spring units for the bedding industry, is proud to have obtained certification by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC). The FSC certification is a major step forward in Latexco’s continual efforts to work sustainably.

 

Teaming up with FSC

Everything that Latexco does testifies to its environmental concern. More than minimizing the impact of its operations on the environment, Latexco wants to ensure the sustainability of its products too. That is why they are pleased to announce that as from today Latexco can offer a product range made with FSC certified latex.

Responsible managed forests. This certificate guarantees that products with the FSC logo are produced with materials from responsibly managed forests and provides transparency and material traceability throughout the supply chain. Latexco’s license number is FSC® C139425.

 

Year-long commitment to sustainability

The FSC label is a next big step in Latexco’s sustainability efforts. Over the last 10 years Latexco has been raising awareness and investing in advanced technology, Latexco has cut energy consumption by almost 50% over the past few years. The bedding expert also recycles 100% of its wastewater and converts latex waste into new, useful products.
